The Athletics Excellence Fund provides the necessary resources for our student-athletes to compete at the highest level, both in the classroom and in competition.
Investing in Excellence
With the House vs. NCAA settlement approval, institutions are now allowed to share revenue directly with student-athletes. This added expense for schools in the top athletics conferences is capped at $20.5 million for 2025-26 and will increase annually.
The POSSE will utilize the Athletics Excellence Fund to support annual revenue share efforts along with our mission to provide all the tools necessary for OSU to compete for championships. While revenue sharing is the newest and largest need, the Athletics Excellence Fund also provides scholarships, academic support services, equipment, sports medicine, nutritional guidance, leadership development, and much more

The POSSE is “the team behind the teams,” and now you can be an integral part of whichever team you choose. These sport-specific clubs help raise money for Cowboy and Cowgirl individual programs with funds directed where it's needed the most. Revenues generated help supplement annual budgets, fund facility improvements, aid in travel expenses, provide new equipment and enhance the overall student-athlete experience.
Contributions to the clubs listed below may qualify for a tax deduction. (Please consult your tax adviser for specific information.) Club donations will qualify for Priority Points, as well as POSSE benefits for gifts totaling $150 or more annually.

Oklahoma State has long competed on the highest level of college athletics with great success, as represented by our 53 NCAA National Championships.
Throughout our history, what it takes to compete at this level has continued to change. Nearly two decades ago, Boone Pickens committed to making sure OSU would compete — and win — in the modern era of college athletics. That commitment shifted the paradigm for OSU, inspired others to do similar, and the entire OSU Family to follow with previously unprecedented support of the Cowboys and Cowgirls.
We are very proud of what we have built since Boone's commitment, but the time has come to push forward and build upon what he started by taking our stadium and Athletic Village into this new era of the Big 12 Conference and college athletics. For Oklahoma State University to continue to compete for championships, now is not the time to pause or rest on past accomplishments, but to honor those who have helped us achieve greatness by pushing forward and building on our success.
